On behalf of Dr. Debra DeMarco and our dear friends at Fiddleheads Restaurant, I would like to thank you for participating in our “Christmas in July” food drive. It was a great success!
Thanks to your generosity, the Jamesburg-area families who depend on the Deacon’s Cupboard are well taken care of for a while longer. Our collection restocked the pantry’s shelves with everything from kid-friendly food products such as peanut butter, juice boxes, lunchbox snacks, and macaroni and cheese, to everyday home staples such as cereals and tuna fish, to useful personal-care items including toothpaste and brushes, detergent, soap, paper towels, and even some pet food. The Deacons had to send a van to transport all the items after our reception!
A special thanks to the Jamesburg business’ who graciously donated gifts for our raffle. These include Sweet William & Thyme Florist, Family Framers, First Constitution Bank, Barbara’s Unique Antique Boutique, Corinthian Capital Group, Stephen Philpitt, Esq. and, of course, Fiddleheads Restaurant. We are proud to to be in the same community with such a generous group.
You renewed our spirit. Let’s keep it alive all year long!
